    Welcome

    0:00 / 0:19

Taught in an AI version of Ross Jones’s voice, made with his permission. You will need a free account with Claude or ChatGPT, whichever one you can use. Never type passwords, ID numbers, or anything private into an AI chat. Claude and ChatGPT are separate products from separate companies, and Open Studio is not affiliated with either.

    The Bridge

Energy on one side. Experience on the other.

The Bridge pairs a young builder with a person who has years of experience, so they can make one real thing that belongs to both of them.

    The builder, 18 and up

    Brings the spark.

Speed with the tools, and the energy to start on a Tuesday and keep going.

    The expert, 50 and up

    Brings what no tool has.

Years of judgment, and stories that teach.

    Together

    Make one real thing.

A guide, a voice, a small business, or something no one has named yet. AI is the third seat at the table.

Both people are 18 or older. Before any pair begins, they sign a plain-language agreement drafted by an attorney, so everyone knows who owns what. Program details are still being finalized with legal counsel.

    Built in real rooms

We have already done this, in person.

These photographs are from our own sessions, with teens at Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County, with people who have years of experience getting up to speed on digital marketing and AI, and with working professionals, like these CCIM members.

A facilitator in a black top and headphones laughs at a microphone while a student in headphones stands beside her. Other students sit at desks behind them.
Teens in Boys & Girls Club shirts gather around a boom-arm microphone. One holds her headphones to her ear while a facilitator in headphones talks with them.
A man in a navy blazer talks with a classroom of students under a Rooted in Love banner while two students stand at the whiteboard.
Two students write on the whiteboard while the man in the navy blazer watches and the class looks on.
A student in a gray hoodie and headphones stands at a microphone beside the facilitator, with other teens behind them.

Stills from our recording days with teens at a Boys & Girls Club of Broward County. Real sessions, real classrooms.

Students sit at desks facing a whiteboard where a facilitator is writing. A boom-arm microphone, a mixing board and a camera on a tripod are set up beside the whiteboard.

    Questions

    What people ask first.

Partner, school or funder? Read the full overview (opens in a new tab).

Is the first lesson really free?

Yes. Lessons 0 and 1 are right at the top of this page, free to listen to and try. You will need an account with Claude or ChatGPT, whichever one you can use. A free account should be enough.

Do I need to know anything about AI?

No. Lesson 0 starts with the words “Hi, I’m new to this.” You need a phone or a laptop, and about twenty minutes.

    Is Open Studio a school?

Open Studio is a studio and a learning community. It is not an accredited school or degree program. You leave with things you made, not a diploma.

    Who can join?

Anyone 18 or older. Day One is designed for ages 18 to 24, and Encore for ages 50 and up, with 40 and up always welcome. Younger learners can join through partner programs, with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Will this get me a job or pay?

We do not promise jobs, pay, or results. We help you make things worth owning, and what you do with them is up to you.

    What will it cost?

Pricing has not been set. Open Studio is still in preview, and the lessons on this page are free.

    Is that really Ross’s voice?

It is an AI version of Ross’s voice, made with his permission, so he can keep you company at every step. Everything you make here, your story, your words, your work, is yours.

    Is my information safe?

This page collects nothing. What you type in “Save my spot” stays on your device until you choose to send an email yourself. In every lesson we teach one habit: never type passwords, ID numbers, or anything private into an AI chat.

    Who is behind Open Studio?

Ross and Tracee Jones, the founders of RealEdge Labs in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Tracee is Founder & CEO, and Ross is Founder & Chief AI Officer.
